Corry Evans Happy with Strong Start Made by Blackburn
Corry Evans claims that he is extremely pleased with the start of the season made by Blackburn. Under the regime of Tony Mowbray, Blackburn have been able to make a decent start of the Championship campaign by staying unbeaten in the first five matches. They have been able to pick up two victories and three draws in these five matches. As a result, Blackburn are in the play-off places of this early part of the campaign. After having just received a promotion from League One, there is a huge challenge awaiting Blackburn in the 2018-19 campaign since the team has to compete against vastly superior teams and still hope to see their Championship status remain intact at the end of the campaign.
“I think we’ve made a good start.Obviously we’re building on last season and we’ve carried that into the Championship and hopefully we can maintain it.I was starting to get a bit of form at the end of last season and I’ve carried that through.I managed to get a full pre-season under my belt and I’m feeling fit and strong. The manager knew all about them, brought them in to help strengthen the squad and improve competition for places and it only helps to drive everyone else on to perform better,” said Evans.
