Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has been working wonders at Leeds since joining in the summer.
Earlier in October, Carlisle United’s goalkeeping coach Dan Watson opted to leave the English League Two club as he joined Northampton Town FC. This was a particularly difficult period of time for Carlisle United as they had only managed to win 1 competitive match in the entire month of October and had to settle with 5 defeats and 1 draw.

Corry Evans claims that he is extremely pleased with the start of the season made by Blackburn. Under the regime of Tony Mowbray, Blackburn have been able to make a decent start of the Championship campaign by staying unbeaten in the first five matches. They have been able to pick up two victories and three draws in these five matches. As a result, Blackburn are in the play-off places of this early part of the campaign. After having just received a promotion from League One, there is a huge challenge awaiting Blackburn in the 2018-19 campaign since the team has to compete against vastly superior teams and still hope to see their Championship status remain intact at the end of the campaign.
The former chair of the Professional Footballers’ Association Clarke Carlisle has asked for reprieve for Raheem Sterling whose tattoo of an M16 assault rifle is making the rounds. The Manchester City star had an excellent season, playing a crucial role as the club lifted the Premier League title in grand style.
Carlisle United suffered a loss against newly promoted side Lincoln City over the weekend but impressive star Reggie Lambe was on target yet again.
Lincoln went ahead through Alex Woodyard, who scored a 22-yard screamer. The score line did not change until the break. In the second half, they dominated and got more goals.
Matthew Rhead intercepted a Tom Parkes pass and sent it to Woodyard who scored. Rhead also got on the scorer’s sheet as he converted a penalty awarded to them. The visitors scored what later proved to be just a consolation through Lambe. Billy Knott came off the bench to net the fourth for the hosts with a long range effort. League Two side Carlisle have confirmed the signing of Tom Parkes from Leyton Orient.
Current manager of Carlisle Keith Curle said that Parkes has the experience and that the player is hungry to achieve things. He praised the player’s communication skills as well.
“We’re all looking forward to working with him because we think he will have a positive impact on the group,” Curle added.
The player is a product of Leicester academy and has played in various sides that include Burton, Yeovil, and Bristol Rovers. He was on loan at the Rovers but the deal was made permanent in 2012 and he eventually became the skipper. He joined Orient last year but he was not able to keep them afloat.
