Carlisle United continue their reign of being undefeated

At the time of writing this article, Carlisle United is the only club of the English League Two that has not sustained a single league defeat as they have secured 6 triumphs and 7 draws out of their opening 13 matches of the current season.

The latest league match of Carlisle United was against Hartlepool United in a match that was played on October 15 and resulted with Carlisle edging out a victory with a final scoreboard of 3-2.

This victory over Hartlepool United was especially meaningful for Keith Curle and his squad due to the fact that they had to compete with only 10 players in the pitch for almost the entirety of the 2nd half and Carlisle United still managed to come out on top with the triumph despite having fewer players in the pitch which shows just how impressively they have been performing in this season.

Shaun Miller received a 2nd yellow card at the 56th minute which resulted with him being sent off the pitch but Carlisle United still managed to hold their ground and secure all 3 points.

Keith Curle and his squad have equalled their all-time club record with a string of 13 undefeated matches. However, even though their current campaign in this season has seen them not picking up any single defeat so far it still has not been enough for them to snatch the top spot as it’s currently being taken by Plymouth as they have gathered a total of 29 points from the 13 opening matches of the season and this is more than what any other club has secured.
Carlisle United on the other hand are currently positioned at the 3rd spot with 25 points.
